Password storage

Currently I store the details for all my bank and online accounts in hard copy. This must be made secure and portable.

Is there a website that can store this data for me? What if I don’t have Internet access when I need it?

Would you really want that kind of data to be stored on a 3rd party website? I use an Excel spreadsheet containing username and password hints. No usernames/passwords are actually stored in the spreadsheet. Only hints along with a column containing a reminder of the algorithm I used to create the password.

Although it doesn’t need to be encrypted (as it contains nothing that can be used directly, I encrypt it using TrueCrypt.

It can easily be backed up by emailing it to myself, or storing it elsewhere.

And as is lives on my computer it is always accessible – no internet needed :)

There’s an easy (and very secure) way to store any user name and password so it can be retrieved in seconds using ANY device.
