I have to start my post with a small clarification. The reason of my writing is not to moan about English trains. It happened to me, that there where some engineering works which I totally understand and I am actually happy that railway companies take care of their tracks. I went by train to Cheltenham [...]

This story really happened to me and my friend R. It was at The Mineshaft restaurant in Hartford, WI. We were skiving from work and wanted to order something to eat. I don’t remember what it was (the story happens in 2004 so it was long time ago), but probably pizza. After the waitress took [...]

In the first option I have to have an Internet connection, in the other one, I have to phone some special number, enter [...]

When you have to travel on a long distance in Poland it is possible that you might scrub your travel plans after realizing how tiresome it can be. Traveling by car is very expensive, traffic jams are a part of polish road system not mentioning the lack of proper motorways. Coaches are not fantastic neither. [...]

Planing cheap and optimum route for a journey

August 1, 2011

Cheap? Optimum? Those both words are very relative. Is 50GBP expensive? I would say yes if you have to pay this amount of money for a return train ticket from Worcester, UK to London, but I would say that it is ridiculously cheap if you get return plane ticket to Girona, Spain. Also optimum adjective [...]

Momondo search engine

July 31, 2011

www.momondo.com Very useful search engine for flight connections (sometimes it searches through fast train schedules as well, like Eurostar). It shows prices, takes under the consideration the airports which are close to the provided location and shows the prize graph for different dates. Although, there is one big inconvenience. You have to put the fixed dates [...]
